In this class you will unlock the skills to be the best improv PERFORMER you can be. In his time working as an improviser, comic, and actor, Matt Pozzuolo has learned the three keys to any good improvisational performance: Specificity, Commitment, and making choices YOU think are fun. In this masterclass you will unlock your specific comedic voice, make choices you are happy with, and learn to be a better performer in front of an audience. Whether it be long-form or short-form improv, this course is beneficial to all. Matt Pozzuolo is an improviser and actor, based in NYC. He is most known for his work as an improviser/comic at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Brooklyn Cowmdy Collective , Second City, iO Theater, the People’s Improv Theater, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and more. He performs regularly as part of Peter & Matt (PIT March Madness Winners 2025), Zero (Edinburgh Fringe Fest 2026), The Alexanders (Best Of Bucks 2026), Kind Regards (PIT House Team), GUPS (BCC House Team), “Improvised The Office” (UCB), “The Great American Shit Carnival” (UCB), and more. He has been acting his entire and has trained with industry experts and casting directors such as Ted Sluberski and Chris Russell. He is most know for his work acting in The Truth (Apple Podcasts’ Top 20 Podcasts from the Last 20 Years) in episodes such as “The Back Row” as Martin and “A Noble Beast” as Kenny. His experience as an improviser, actor, instructor, and director helps him bring a unique approach to breaking down improvised scene work in a way that helps performers identify their own comedic voice.
