The  Unscripted Studio

Our studio plays host to our various improv classes, comedy classes, storytelling classes, and more. At UnScripted, there is something for everyone regardless of level of experience, interest, or goals. We offer both short form and long form improv classes.

Beginner Level Classes

Our beginner level classes are for folks with little to no improv experience. If you are looking to try something new, cross something off of your bucket list, or merely meet new people. This is our class. The beginner level class is where folks are introduced to the Unscripted brand of improv-- human-centric, personal, empowering, and applicable to every aspect of life. This class is primarily focused on building community and setting participants up for future success.

Through exercises, energizers, and games, participants will experience the impact of improv on human connection, personal growth, creativity, presence, and as an antidote to overthinking. 

Next Level Classes

After a beginner experience, students have a choice to move along through our leveled courses. Levels 2-5 walk students from game play with a higher degree of difficultly, all the way through scene work, character development, etc.

Niche Classes and Workshops

As an applied improvisation studio, we pride ourselves on creating classes and workshops for specific purposes and groups of people. In the past, these have included: Women's Improv, Performance Improv Masterclasses, Daytime Improv, Improv for Civil Discourse, Improv for Educators, Improv for Parenting, and more. 

Just for Teens

Perhaps the group that can benefit the most from improv classes. Teens will not only learn how to listen, adapt, communicate, and problem solve, they'll do it while being engaged and having fun without a screen. The skills that develop in young people through improvisation are the ones that show up in the workplace and boardroom later in life.
